Weihai Introduction

Weihai City is in the east of Shandong Peninsula, the south,east and northof it is the Yellow Sea, and to the west is Yantai City. The total area of it is 5,436 square kilometers, with the urban area of 731 square kilometers. The lenth of the coastline is 985.9 km. It is included with Rongcheng, Wendeng, Rushan cities and huancui District. Weihai has rich tourism resources with two state-level scenic spots, three provincial-level scenic spots , 51 units of heritage conservation, 4 provincial tourist resort, and 80 tour various scenic spots, such as coastal islands, urban gardens, historical sites, folk customs, and other types of more than 10 kinds.
