Mt. Qishan National Forest Park Introduction

Qi Shan(Flog Mountains) National Forest Park is located to the southwest of Fuzhou city  in the south of minjiang river, stands between Shangjie & Nanyu Towns in Minhou county, emerald green flag mountain ( Cui Qi Shan )as another name. The mountains are like triumphant  banners flying, so they  get the name flog mountains(Qi Shan in Chinese). It's an easy half hour drive from the city to the foot of the mountain.

Mt. Qishan National Forest Park Features

With an altitude of 755 meters, the Qushan Forest Park is 5.4 kilometers wide from east to west, and stretches a total length of 16.4 kilometers. As the mountain faces the Drum Hill across the city, there comes the saying that "the Qishan Mount o­n the left and the Drum Hill o­n the right make two great mountains of Fuzhou". The Qishan Mount features a landscape of granite landform, while its ancient trees, deep ponds, rushing waterfalls, birds and beasts enable the Qishan  Mount to be an ideal tourism resort and summer resort.

 Qi Shan Mount is even more famous for "six academicians in the mountain ".The site is adjacent to Huxiushan Mountain Park in the southwest side, and looking into Qi Shan Mountain in the north. The typical surface characteristics of the local villages are maintained, with small and large fields placed irregularly, ponds distributed densely, the Nanxi river traversing the site from the east to the west and then flowing into Dazhang brook, a branch of the Wulong Jiang River in the east.
